Being marketed as 'India's First Coffee Revolution', its sad to see there is nothing about this short piece of intended entertainment. Non-Indian name, non indian shooting locations, probably non-indian film crew. But they want Indian consumers to shell out money to make this Indian brand successful by calling it 'India's Coffee Revolution'.
Our coffee revolution happened 100s of years ago with our own wonderful filter coffee.

Wannabe name. Wannabe advertising. Trying too seek wannabe Indians.
Sad. Perhaps the mother company is ashamed of being Indian.
I agree with your view n our own filter coffee.

Re: Cafe Cube Coffee
hahah! Definitely not on the brief. Either the positioning or the TVC.
If the positioning is wrong, its a disaster. If the TVC is wrong, then its just a few crores lost.

I don't understand this. Foreign location, foreign actors and most probably a foreign production team. They might as well sell the product abroad. They're still clinging to the hope that this firangi outlook will trump Red Bull, which is such an action and sport oriented brand.
I kinda also got confused between Cube, Cuba, revolution, and the Guerrilla star and the Che look.
As Kanya said, SAD.

Re: Cafe Cube Coffee
I think we got the name wrong. Its Cafe Cuba, and hence revolution idea.
The website: http://cafecuba.in/
I'm guessing this product introduction isn't going to work/sell. Let's see 6 months from now. Btw anyone try it? Let's not dis the product without trying it. But either way the ad is thoroughly uninspiring.

Re: Cafe Cube Coffee
As a consumer I dont have too much to talk abt this, but I liked it.
I am not sure about the pricing, it would have been good for me if its price is somewhere competing with flavored carbonated water (cool drinks).
Re: Cafe Cube Coffee
Hmmm. interesting perspective.
But as an advertising critique?

Sad. That means the ad was a let down as compared to the product. There you go Kanya, good product, bad advertising. CreativeLand is losing it. They better rent out a cheaper place than Global Business Park.JCSaiKrishna wrote:As a consumer I dont have too much to talk abt this, but I liked it.I am not sure about the pricing, it would have been good for me if its price is somewhere competing with flavored carbonated water (cool drinks).
