New Twitter Logo with Dark Blue Color

Hi,

New twitter logo is being designed and it is introduced.I like the logo and it is quite impressive
I wonder is this done just for Change or for Branding purpose.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha... This looks like a classic case if the management listening to vastu. I liked the older logo with he tuft of feathers on the bird's head. That was cuter.

But the new logo, with the bird looking upwards sees like an attempt to suggest getting ahead, something which twiter is fumbling over.
