Re: Vodafone Electric Rickshaw
Just an observation (I have nothing against the Vodafone ad):
Often I have seen that electric vehicles are advertised as Green/Eco friendly. Remember the 'Emission Impossible!' sticker behind such cars?
Actually, fossil fuel based engines (CNG/Petrol/Diesel) distribute pollutants everywhere and electric vehicles concentrates all the pollutants in the place where they service the batteries. Batteries in such vehicles will last just two years. I think the batteries are more lethal than CO2 emissions from IC engines as they have heavy metal contents that can cause serious health hazards.

you are right antzfx. dont know which one is more lethal, but its a fact that both batteries are fossil fuesl are bad. you need electricity to charge your vehicle. creating that elecricity is hazrdous to the environment. and yes, batteries are a big health hazard unless someone has thought of a fool proof way to get rid of them.

cool point antzfx,, never thought of that

A fun way of showing the 'environment friendly' battery acid adding 'greenness' to Mother Earth. Again, I have nothing against the people who drive the Indian version of G-Wiz.
