As the curtains came down on Goafest 2010, the teams from the various creative agencies thronged the awards venue, brimming with enthusiasm as the creative awards were announced with much fanfare.
Much like before, Ogilvy India took home the maximum metals. The agency won a total of 43 awards, which included one Grand Prix, three gold, nine silver and 30 bronze trophies. The agency won one of the two Grand Prix that were given away, in the Integrated category.
It was little surprise that the Vodafone Zoozoos still stayed 'fresh' in everybody's minds. Rajiv Rao and his team at Ogilvy India continued to beam, as one of the most popular campaigns in recent times fetched the agency two gold trophies and the Grand Prix, in the Film Single and Integrated categories. Ogilvy India won its third gold for The Economist (Baby) in the Direct Response (Print) category.
