Ogilvy picks up a large number of metals (yawn...)
Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai dominated the Indian Statue tally at the 2009 London International Awards. They won 4 Silver Statues; three for Print - Confections/Snacks and one for Print - Consumer Campaign and 4 Bronze Statues; three for Poster - Confections/Snacks and one for Poster - Consumer Campaign.
Ogilvy’s three campaigns (Caveman, Diver and Tourist) for Sour Marbels Candies were short listed in the Confections/Snacks sub-category, both in the Poster category and the Print category.
These campaigns had also been selected as a single entry in the Poster Campaign sub-category (Design) and Consumer Campaign sub-category (Print).
DDB Mudra Mumbai is the only other Statue winner, with a Bronze in Radio - Public Service/Social Welfare.
DDB Mudra had been nominated in the Public Service/Social Welfare sub-category of the Radio category for its campaign for Islamic Research Foundation (Bush).
