help needed!!!! Is this a rip off of designs?

Hi everyone, this is my first post on desicreative. The reason im posting this is because i have a friend who say he did a promo kit and say it was influence from another designer. So can you guys judge for me?

if what you have designed is up here, and the the links are what someone else has done before, then I am afraid there is enough similarity for you to want to drop your idea dn try something new.

it may not be hard.
