On second thoughts, if you are speaking 'academically' (I am a Product Design Student at IISc Bangalore), I am doing these too:
1. A better design for Solar Lantern -- Deadline in this December
2. Vegetable Cutting station for kitchens -- Deadline in this December
3. Dish Washer for a middle class family (Target Price is less than Rs.10,000) -- Deadline is June, 2010

I am not alone, I am paired up with one more student and we are working as a team.

The font used in the Soccer Poster is known as 'Yanone Kaffeesatz.'
If my memory serves me right, I first heard about this font from an article in 'Smashing Magazine.'
