TO TEAM OR NOT TO

personally i do not like the idea of teaming up as it kills individualism. these days art guys can do copy and vice versa.

they must team up. any creative enterprise is furthered by teamwork..

But if one of the team mates is stronger then the other, the other suffers or will not be able to get his ideas thru. On the other hand if one of the member is bad he may piggyback to glory thanks to the other. We see this so many times in awards when a writer just puts in a line and the art guy wins a gold so does the writer.

well there's no way i agree with krishh. although he may have his point of view. Teaming up is fantastic. Sometimes i come up with the visual idea, sometimes dips comes up with the copy. And its awesome to fight over work also...at the end the stuff we are doing only gets better. Individually sometimes you may get blind to your ownwork. Only a lucky few gets a great partner anyway.

Its always good to be teamed. Sometimes I come up with a visual the copywriter gibves me a line and vice-versa. You check mistakes and get a better output. Its good to be a team.

Think teaming is good. How else can you share ideas? Especially in advertising. Cause very few works can be credited to either copywriter or visualiser.
