My name is Angshuman Roy and I am a Creative Director with JWT, Kolkata. I was attracted to this site because people were calling me up asking me if I had posted some of my work here. I did not but thankfully someone did. It was life joke or in reality Thirthankar Mitra who was "RELEIVED" of his duties from JWT, Kolkata because of his constant habit of being "INSPIRED" by other's work. But kudos to him, I had heard of people lifting ideas, but our man takes them as it is. He was denied access to any machines in JWT during his final days and I as a good samaritan and a foolish one to boot allowed him to gather his work into his CD's and he did a real god job at it. In his posts there are 2 pieces of work for the client Taj Bengal, both were done by me while I was Creative Group Head in Rediffusion DYR Kolkata for my earstwhile client Taj Bengal along with Diptanshu Roy, now with Bates Enterprise, Kolkata. The 3rd piece of work that Thirthankar "BORROWED" is the one for Farex that I did with Piyash Ghosh, Creative Group Head, Rediffusion DYR, Kolkata. Thirthankar Mitra's appetite is insatiable and he tok a 4th, the Lotto work was done by me along with a now retired Art Creative Group Head, Shika Bajaj. Friends let's help this guy, he recently had some problems at WUNDERMAN, Bangalore because he "BORROWED" some cash. Let us be the kind people we are and help this man in need. Boys, we should not publicly humiliate someone, agreed the guy has plagiarised, but what we are doing here is ruining someone's career. Ansu, why don't u talk him aside. From your mail it seems like you have a personal grudge againt him, this is very unbecoming of a CD of JWT. I would expect you also not to stoop so low.

FC, firstly I can't place you or identify you by those initials. People who know me or has worked with me knows who I am and what I am about and I don't keep grudges. It's my work he has stolen. I will give anyone a long rope, if they choose to hang by it, that's their problem. Do you have any idea what this person is about? How many problems this person has created? I went out of my way to help this individual out and he did this.

it is unfortunate but true - i'm talking about Mr. Angshuman Roy's allegations. he's right. sometimes when you are at the fag end of your wit & dunno' what you do, this happens. the fact that my mental situation was under control of psychotropic substances, i do not even remember putting them up. all the ads that Mr.Roy has pointed out is his work. and his work only.
now since i'm, as well as my mind, is free of all controls (the wrong kinds) i express my heartfelt apologies to him and all you fellow DCians. kindly forgive me.
