I never used 'loren impsum' in India. How many desis using it for dummy copy?

i remember someone who had written gaalis (abuses) in a vernacular langauage (I think it was bengali), as part of dummy copy. The client, incidentally was bengali and could understand the abuses were aimed at him/her. The art person responsible promptly lost his/her job.

So maybe it makes sense to use a standard dummy copy. Like Loren Ipsum.

Precisely, I do it all the time.
I am surprised not many know about Lorem Ipsum as a dummy copy...

I think loren ipsum bcame popular with the internet. There was something else used earler too : the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog, or something like that
