Why is there lack of intellectual discussions amongst desi ?

I stumbled on an international advertising forum. 80% of the posts were by Desis but they were only about the work they had done. Look at this 'save water ad', save trees, save pollution, only PSA or scam ideas. That is the only thing they discuss. Nothing introspective, nothing like what we do here. So all of us here, I am glad I know u guys and I am here.

Agreed with you prasoon. So what's stopping you? I think DesiCreative is the perfect forum where we can constructively critique our desi industry and look at ways to improve the standards. WHich is why i like the efforts of people like Diptansu and Shoneeka (Bates Cal & Delhi) who are constantly doing exactly what we should do.

Good topic. We should post more of those. I like the bollywood discussions and improving art direction. I know some big CDs are reading these forums, so they should start thinking.
