The 1st Edition of India Art Festival, a modern and contemporary art fair, concluded in November 2011 at Nehru Centre, Mumbai. India Art Festival brought together 45 art galleries and 600 professional artists from twenty major cities in four countries.

1st edition of India Art Festival received more than 26,000 visitors during four days of the festival and became the first art fair in western & southern India to receive the highest number of visitors in four days.

Out of 126 booths in the art festival, 80% booths recorded good sales. 40% first time art buyers visited the art festival, establishing its position as a premier art fair in the region. Mumbai - India's commercial capital is not only the city with the highest GDP in India but it ranks among the world's top ten trade centers and contributes 25% of Industrial output and 70% of capital transactions to India's economy. Mumbai is the cultural and art production centre too with booming art market, flourishing real estate and thriving film industry.

The second Edition of India Art Festival is scheduled to be hosted at the business district of 'Bandra Kurla Complex' on MMRDA grounds opposite "Bharat diamond market" - world's biggest diamond trade centre. The venue for second edition of India Art Festival is at five minutes walking distance from National Stock Exchange, JP Morgan, SEBI, Trident, Dow Chemical, IL & FS, American Centre, NABARD, UTI and 500 other corporate offices. The second edition of IAF venue being at strategic position promises to see huge number of corporate honchos, HNI population, art collectors, artists, galleries and audiences from India and overseas.
