Need contact No.

Dear All,

I am an Art Director and looking for a job in Mumbai. But it seems difficult to find contact no. of Creative Director, If anybody knows Contact no. of CD's Pls. PM me. I am interested in Lowe, JWT, Rediff, Leo Burnett,O&M, Ambience, Leo Burnett, McCann,Everest etc.

hey bug, the best way is to call the agency reception and ask for the phone numbers of the CDs from them at the reception.

the other thing is try to get hold of just one CD, and then ask that CD to help you out with others. it is always good to go thru a refernce. If they have no openings then ask them to help with someone who may have one.

i had my old writer Shormistha Mukherjee working at Leo Burnett, think she is still there. Her husband Anirban Mukherjee was at McCann. You can look for them and ask them to put you in touch with others. Unfortunately I do not have their numbers....

I tried to send email to some people but I think in India nobody look at your email they just throw it in a dustbin. This is my experience. That's why I need contact no. So, I can speak to them directly.

hey bug it is equally difficult getting hold of them..... if you have a contact number as well as half the time they are never on their desks.... and then they do not return the phone calls....pretty different in london where they do.

but what you could do is use your creativity and send them some sort of DM. seen the movie hitch? will smith could not get thru the girl.... so he send her a walkie talkie thru DHL, as soon the girl signs the DHL ....and takes the walkie talkie will smith starts talking to her. well you do not have to spend so much money .........but perhaps you can send a cheap DM with your phone number on it? during good old days i sent fortune cookie with my phone number inside it and almost everyone called.

the other thing you could do is....hang out at the local awards show....or simply go to the agency reception and ask for the CD....tell them to tell the CD that BUG is waiting for him....believe me, it really works...as the CD thinks he must have met you before....as u r giving first name...

try calling them on their landlines first. its kind of impolite to call people on their cell phones directly...

i think it is pretty bad the way they hire in mumbai, if u know the guy u get a job...so best is try finding someone who knows someone who knows the CD...
