i think the ad been more impressive if they hire basanti bcz basanti had more stamina lol...

bcz we don't buy that biscuit which is horse eats, thatswhy i'll preferred basanti (kyunki mujhejyaada bolne ki aadat to hai nahi) basanti's famous line....

i would agree with your point on basanti being the better salesperson bt in terms of stamina i would still be with Dhanno...

but basanti's character is forgettable. Gabbr Singh has been the strongest character in Sholay.
And after so many years of the movie, we still use Sholay's ideas to make our ads, especially radio ads. Thats because the dialogue in Sholay is so amazing!
