planning to changeover....to photography

hi friends...

i am Siddharth Shivalkar from Pune (India). joined "desicreative" yesterday. since then i have been studying the entire website and the forum.

looks like i have finally reached the right place to showcase my photography.....courtsey paramvir...thanx to him for telling me about desicreative.

i am basically from the field of Information Security and Photography has so long just been a hobby until recently.

I worked on a couple of commercial assignments and had some of my photographs sold (stock sale) i decided to get into serious professional photography. i am also an official contributor to Visage Images ( Master Delegate of Getty Images )

we would liek to see some of your advertising photogrphy work. even on your site (i dont know why you shy from posting your pictures here, as mentioned by someone earlier), you have a lot of macro shots etc. lets see some advertising work...

people, products, table tops etc

here are a couple of assignment photographs... as i cannot add more than 3 photographs i am not able to add more...others include a photo shoot for a cake shop with all the different cake varieties and a photo shoot for chocolate and flower shop.

errr. i understand your requirement for copyright protection and all, but I could enjoy your work more if your logo was not plastered all over the image. you could just have a tiny one at one corner.

you have posted work of home interiors, and you are in a very competitive marketplace. see these two random images from corbis.com (also see their well placed logo). do you think you can compete wth them? space to grow? (please dont think I am being negative, just encouraging a thought and introspection)

also why didnt you do something about the wall lamps burning out> they are ruining the images. really want to see your cake pictures, especially without the giant logo.

i really can understand your wish to see the cake photographs... but under the agreement with the client i cannot release them anywhere without his written permission.
