hey all! this is the first time i am posting my work. this is an idea for a public safety ad. please don't go after the tacky visuals since i am not a graphic artist. i aspire to be a copywriter. all suggestions and criticisms regarding the idea are welcome.

well the label here refers to the different whiskeys. blue label, gold label etc etc. sigh! i thought it was obvious. well anyone else not getting it? if that is so then i might have to change the idea.

It's not working buddy. And there has been lots of govt ads with the similar visual. Quite hackneyed I would say. Do something you haven't seen.

but I am sure you can do better.

take an existing ad and make it better. or better still take a social service message (like the one you have) and work harder on it. you could also take a look at kikikikikiki's logo change thread. think ideas. have fun thinking ideas and it will all come to you...
