Funny you don't want to know about favourite Cinematographers, Audiographers, Music Composers, Art Directors, Screenplay Writers etc.
Movies are about as collaborative as one can get. All that everyone wants to talk about are directors and actors. And believe me, I know enough to know that a lot of them are just plain buffoons.

Re: Movie thread
I thought most ppl except art ppl won't be interested in them all. I myself gave and got through the editor exam at FTII. But I will disagree about the last comment. Maybe you need to check out Jodorowsky, Tartakovsky, Lynch, Mike, Wilder, Wenders, Kubrick. Would you agree that they are bad? I consider very few of them as directors. You're not a director just because of a title.Paramvir wrote:Funny you don't want to know about favourite Cinematographers, Audiographers, Music Composers, Art Directors, Screenplay Writers etc.

I love robby muller, thelma schoonmaker, zimmerman (a little overrated but nice) etc.
Movies
Love Meryl Streep. Kramer Vs Kramer was freaking amazing. She was so good. Kanya that's some nice choices. I'm a little inclined towards english movies.Ek Kanya wrote:Which is your

I don't like the set background and there is no excuse for a good director be it him or art. But Bachan was from my school so adoration has to be implied anyway. But nonetheless it is a good movie. One of the few Indian westerns that I've seen and are good.DesignBoyz wrote:Agree with @Paramvir.
I like Sholay.

True Param. Guys anyone else? Any movie you've seen recently and could review it for us. It'd be nice so as to help us choose which to watch. Movies worth watching etc.Paramvir wrote:I have checked out these and loads of others. I did not say ALL. I say MOST.
