Why we still suck at illustrations and styling?

New work by JWT Levis must be their award entry piece. But the illustration is so hurriedly done. First of all the guy's finger is too long. Their feet are not in coharance with the over all styling. Ex: The hands have fingers but the feet not. The girl with white top is wearing a horrible top with a lace...do they go together? And the over all styling is too bollywoodish...not levi's image. Why don't we put more effort on making our illustrations world class? We have the ideas, we have the talent...what's missing??????

it's for levis carbon copy jeans...this is only part of the ad the other side of the spread shows the reverse copy in blue print....
