why is it only bear? why no beaches, sun, sand, palm trees, fish? and a spirit that no other place has?

Here is the confession -- Ever since I heard about BarCamp (since 2008), I wanted to depict beer. Because, that is what nerds drink in sci-fi Hollywood flicks. And yes, it is 'Bar' Camp, remember?

But I couldn't do it in the five or six logos designed for BarCamp in the past three years. This time when the BarCamp Goa people approached me, I thought "well, this is the chance!" I'm happy that they also liked it.

That is why "no beaches, sun, sand, palm trees, fish? and a spirit that no other place has?"

I get the point. Also most people kind of extend 'Goa = Beer'.

Here, I tried my hand at the logo. The presentatioj (in the vigneted box with masthead band) I learnt from admin, Paramvir.

I'm also beginning to see a clenched hand/fist as usually depicted in propaganda posters of left inclined political parties.
