These days copy guys are designing ads thanks to visual all ads. Since they can also write this poses a big problem for us guys. what's your take?

can you give examples? i am an acd copy who can draw a bit but never, never will be i able to match up to say my art partner's expertise. i can give my opinion based on common sense and learnings, but nothing more. so y kill a good idea by trying to do art by myself. and good luck to those who think they are kessels + kramer fused as one...

kessels work is pretty crapy. tell me one good piece of work they have done? and u do not need an AD for those ones. all they have a pull bleed image of a quirky couple against a more quirky wall papered wall...and the ad will never make any sense, neighter to indians , neighter to dutch. i want to know what brands they helped build?

hi tarun,
liking work of any agency is a very subjective thing. you have every right not to like their work. as far as building brands is concerned i suggest read ' 2 kilo of kessels kramer'. And well they have done wonders for 'Diesel', Hans Brinker Budget Hotel, Oxfam, Ben, Het Parool etc. Point is not about the awards they won (they have every one of them), point is their fresh new approach to the communications business.
Cheers

No Dips, I am not from Creative. I am from Orrisa...
Why? Do I need to be creative to like Kessels work?
And BTW, they have not won one single big award, becuase they do not believe in them, yet they send all their work to archieve who is happy to publish that utter nonsense.

well to be honest you dont need to be creative to be in advertising... but you need to recognize creative...

if I am not mistaken, the original 'for successful living' campaign was started by one person called Joaquin Johnsson or something. kessels got the account later on. let me read up a bit and post. but read under the clients' sections for the Diesel Jeans Brand.
