Sapna Bhavnani's Blacklist

Being a part of the media industry there are bound for non-payments to happen. A few minor faults here n there are sometimes acceptable but what when you don’t get paid at all or say your paid after a really long time . At the end of it no-one can deny MONEY is the ultimate motivator .So how do you know the company you are working for will pay you back whats been promised . Thinking what to do ???? DON’T ….Thats because our very own Sapna Bhavnani has come up with an awesome solution for the same . Most of us including the various Hollywood / Bollywood / Television / Print workforce are on facebook . So whats the solution you ask ??
Well this is it, it seems (am still looking for the URL) . The BLACKLIST a group on facebook made by the admin Sapna Bhavnani . The group says “this group is for everyone in the beezniz of bollywood / hollywood /television / print....this group contains information on companies who don't pay at all or pay a year later. This group will keep you educated about the company asking you to work for them and help you decide if a 90% advance is advisable. Please write about your experiences with these bastards and keep other people informed. DON'T BE SHY..... PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SPACE FOR PERSONAL ADVERTISING...I WILL REMOVE YOU FROM THE LIST AND ALSO BLOCK YOU IF I HAVE TO...THIS IS A PLATFORM FOR TECHNICIANS AND THEIR COMPLAINTS ..THE SALSA PEOPLE AND THE CASTING CALL PEOPLE CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES!!!!”
The discussions so far have blacklisted a total of approximately 26 companies , production houses , etc .. So next time before you think of joining in any of the companies that have promised you a good payment for your work , you know what to check first before saying a “YES”.
