"A for Apple" is a phrase that means "it's obvious". in an ad i would say it means you are showing an obvious visual with a headline. say the headline says "blue car" and u show a blue car it is "A for Apple". whereas if your headline says "blue car" and you show a red car then it is not "A for Apple". it is not obvious. it makes the reader want to read your copy and see why it says blue car when it is showing a red car. the copy would then probably say that this car is blue coz it is lonely. it needs a driver. u know what i mean?
