Which Font management system do you guyz use on the Windows Platform?
I have been a tough time managing fonts on my windows machine.

Adobe ATM is no longer available and has its own limitations.
Bitstream Font Navigator (comes bundled with Corel) is very unstable.

I was looking for a software which allows me to add, remove or disable fonts and is easy to use also.
Often when I install fonts, I get them under Corel but dont get them under Photoshop or vice versa.
What could be the problem? Has anybody faced this?

What is the maximum no of fonts one can install under Windows? (I have heard, its about 400)
Often you have a font which has like 20-25 font files (if one uses the full family)...

Which is the best format — OTF, TTF, AFM, T1?

its all built in. I meanthe font management.

i use suitcase fusion. it allows me to do all of what you said and is easy to use also. no idea what your corel photoshop problem could be due to.
maximum number of fonts i believe vary from windows version to version. i have about 1000 fonts on mine and mine is a windows vista.
best format for fonts (i googled this one):
When in doubt, select the TrueType or OpenType font format. A TrueType or OpenType font is easier to install, because there is only one file to worry about (each PostScript font has two). You usually only need the PostScript Type 1 format if you are sending your original files to a service bureau, printer, or publisher for high-quality printing.
