ID magazine folds up after 55 years

ID magazine is no more. It was an iconic magazine, each of whose covers featured a model winking. Basically one eye only. Was o e of my, and for most designers, a Favourite. ID, we miss you already!

some more dope on ID magazine:
in the course of its publication, the magazine won five National Magazine Awards: For General Excellence in 1995, 1997, and 1999; for Special Interests in 2000; and Design in 1997. That amounted to an astounding haul for a magazine with only 30,000 readers per issue. Nonetheless, according to F&W sales managers, I.D. had not turned a profit in seven years and was beset by competition from shelter magazines and mainstream glossies, which have been aggressively adding design coverage, owing to rising interest in design among mainstream audiences.

I have been looking for the iDN Mag in mumbai, but not able to find....
Any idea where can I get one?

ID magazine always had teh cover model with one eye closed. thats what teh logo looked like. if you see this magazine with this logo. pick it up!

I think you'll get ID magazines in Few Advertising Book Stores in Fort....But you have to hunt ID in there shop....Because for them it's just a book...they'll just say nahiiiiii hai.....BUt for us its a source of inspiration....
