the boy's shoe's reflection should have the sole of the shoe. Not the side.

@Saumya: Hey, you really have sharp eyes! Let me guess... Are you an Art Director who reviews poor visualizers' works? No. I didn't check your profile!
To get a reflection effect, the easiest way is to 'flip vertical' the image and apply a feather and that is what happened in this Press Ad. I have done the same thing countless times.

you are right antzfx, am an art director! and you are rigth about the shadows/reflections. if only they had hired a more sincere mind-set, they would have placed glossy polycarbonate/acetate sheets to get a true reflection.

but thats what we always do! get half baked shots and PhotoShop is the oven. Maybe we should have a 'best picture without photoshop' contest. but it would be impossible to find out, I guess?

This is NOT Photoshop
You may have seen this image many times. Just observe the
'THIS IS IT' displayed on the stage background.
Did you feel that the bottom portion of the alphabet
'S' of
'IS' is missing? Just compare the
'S' with that of
'THIS.'
Initially I thought that this is a bad Photoshop work; but I got a chance to see the documentary on MJ's rehearsals of 'This is it.' It appears that there is a doorway there that masked some portion of the display on the stage background.
