very nice illustrations.

you will probably have to have ideas and layouts as exciting to get yourself an entry into an agency. people in ad agencies are pretty traditional minded and insular. so getting inside is a problem. but once inside, its more or less smooth sailing...

Hey Sandeep,

very appealing illustration style you've got there. It has immediate applications in new media work because of it's flat colours and the fact that your simple style holds up on size reduction. You should mail a few firms that create websites, flash work etc.

Some feedback:
Since negative space plays such an important role in your illustrations, try compositional techniques that will save the illo if someone bungs in a logo onto it. Break it now so it won't catch you by surprise when you get an actual commission.

The amount of information that your illustration style provides is very little. Which is a good thing. What I mean is that photographs tend to provide too much informational baggage. Gender, age, personality characteristics etc which sometimes prove an overkill when you're trying to convey a simple message.
On the other hand simplicity may also prove to be a limitation. Experiment with colour variations other than primary colours to add context and therefore more information to your scenes.

Washed out colours = Retro feel
Black and White = Nostalgia
etc

There are other ways besides colour. Line thickness, composition, texture etc... all without changing your unique style.

Finally, control those lines!
