Interesting. Is this the final execution cuz the overall cut-paste-morph is rather tacky?
Also do you need both words perception and reality?
Drinking alters perception is more than enough.

drinking makes you drive like a race driver? perhaps... but will it make me stop drinking before driving? not hard hitting enough...

Even I think the same. Its rather encouraging you to drink as you may get extra thrills to drive like a racing car driver
