Hey everybody.
New to this site, so let's introduce.
I am Ingo Mettes and work as a copywriter in a creative team with Geert Ploeger (art). We started in 2000 in Advertising at Office, a small agency excelling in through the line advertising. From Direct Marketing, Sales Promotion, Brand Activating through more above the line things like 'just' doing ads and TV-commercials. After a while Office was bought by the big and mighty Ogilvy. So done that for a year or so. Then we moved to Imagine, a small 'hotshop' where we worked for about 8 months. In 2003 we started our freelance carreer. At HunkyDory, a famous agent here in the Netherlands. And that's the agent we still work for.
The last 4 years for famous agencies like 180 Amsterdam, Y&R, Publicis, Euro RSCG, Lowe, GreyCells, TBK/G2, FHV/BBDO, Saatchi&Saatchi as well as nice local agencies like Doom&Dickson, LEMZ and Van Walbeek Etcetera and directly for clients.
Please visit our website at http://www.toffegasten.nl/ and our agent http://www.hunkydory.nl/

Thanks and see you on the forum ;-)

Grtz, Ingo

Thanx you guys!

@ vikram: as a matter of fact we're visiting India in a short while. A friend who's living in Bombay is going to marry in the Goa-region. So we're visiting both Bombay as Goa. But as we're there for just a short period, we'll probably just be enjoying a short break ;-)

@ Hasmukh: we were sort of 'forced' into freelancing when we got sacked due to the 2003 recession... but it worked out just fine, so we're still being (very) busy as a freelance team. We're open to an offer from a nice agency, though. But it'll most likely be a national agency. Not necessary a big agency; it could as well be a smaller hotshop

Hey Paramvir,

We're honoured by your kind proposal. But as we're in India to visit a friend and attend his wedding (a two day happening in India, right?), our time is limited. So I'm afraid we won't have much time left for any job-interviews.

Even though we're mainly focussing on working for (the better) local / western agencies, it would be interesting to learn a bit from advertising in India. So maybe sometime in the future. Who knows...

Thanks again. Greetz, Ingo
