Hi ek kanya, had to do a bit of reading to answer your question, So from what i have gathered there is a scarcity of talent is Indian advertising, as they are underpaid and the attrition rate is quite high. Also there is a issue of "PITCH FEE" which isnt looked upon till now. I feel with so many diversification of an agency ( which they call 360 degree approach) , the coordination is a issue and dat reflects on relationship with client also. And Indian advertising lacks leadership.
Two of the biggest names in Indian advertising-who alas will also have to stay unnamed-it would seem aren't exactly focussed on the problem at hand. "One guy's current biggest issue is still: 'How do we rise above racism towards respect and tolerance in society,' and the other still writes poetry to escape from the mad world of advertising, as well as every single television commercial to come out of his agency, well, because he does!"
