hey all...sorry for not rplying....well as it turns out...nthn came true...i now have a job as a Business Analyst in noida....the job's good..m likin it...but still...i am tryn to gt some freelance projects..bcoz someday..i wanna end up in advertising...but at the mo- i have nothn in hand...so lets c wht happens...

business analyst in noida? did you check the jobs ection at desicreative? plenty of jobs floating around...

yup..chkd it..nthn concrete for freshers..leave alone freshers who r engineers..

no jobs for freshers? find that a little difficult to believe. or is it that you are not getting a good package?

well don't know why I keep hitting this forum in sporadic bumps.. .. well guess what, I am still where I was 3 months ago. Same company, same job. Honestly speaking, when I didn't have a job, it was easy thinking that whenever i'll get a call from an agency, I wouldn't think twice. But know, when I have been working in a totally different filed for quite a long period of time, I really don't know what I want exactly.


last week, i got a mail from an agency in Delhi who were willing to try me based on my portfolio that I had mailed them about 3 months back(nice timing jackass). Now that I am really getting a hang of things here, I don't really know where I am headed. The pay they are offering is peanuts compared to what I am getting here. But since the last few nights, I have been drinking and thinking( well more drinking, less thinking..ok ok..only drinking.. ) and I felt that I missed out on a chance to satiate my creativity.

what should I do guys? I mean generally, how do I decide? money or satisfsaction?

how do I know that taking the plunge now will end in me drowning or emerging victorious at the other bank?

I know its a long rant and thank all 3 of you who have read this far ( ), but really ppl, I don't know where I am going....

p.s - I know its lame to post again but whatever


are there any agencies now paying good money to peaople like me? Dumb but honest question..

hi anirudh.. how about posting some of your thoughts/work here? did u follow someone above's advice and try and better an existing ad before walking into an agency? if u did, let's see it. then maybe we could have a fresher viewpoint on your case? (and i think, if you are even remotely good, you should try and pursue a career in advertising.. since u still haunt this forum even though u r still not in advertising)
