Using the V8-powered SS as a base, the "Phase I" Yenko Camaro will feature a supercharger to boost horsepower to 600, a Hurst short-throw shifter, larger brakes and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system, not to mention the various Yenko badges affixed to the wheels, seats, sill plates, floor mats, etc. GMCI promises that a Phase II and III will follow, and just like Don Yenko took advantage of the COPO program to order Camaros with the 427ci engine, we hope that GMCI will make use of GM Performance parts and swap out the LS3 for an engine of proper displacement befitting a Yenko Super Car.
i was playing around with my camera and the macro function. its amazing how different the same things look as one goes closing in on whats around us. maybe theres something in it in the way we treat human beings too...
i have not been writing for some time. there is tremendous pressure at work to conform to certain numbers and in short, we are all being overworked.
over the past few years, revenue earnings per client have eebn going down as competition heats up and clients are negotiating harder. that puts a pressure on our bottom lines and hence our salaries and jobs, I am told.
its strange. the whole economy seems tobe growing, every one seems to be making money, except the agencies. either we are doing something awfully wrong, or we are not being given the correct picture.
some stuff from one of my favourite sites, colhunter. love the retro lego style styling and the influences from Mondrian's art..

If you prefer your ‘pop culture references’ to be slightly more wearable, then the JCDC Lego watch might be more up your alley. Watches have seen a remarkable lift in design led innovation, incorporating a fashionable or pop culture element and often employing leading designers of today to interpret their design aesthetic for the category. JCDC has taken the classic Casio watch shape and used the iconic Lego primary colours and connectable circular shapes to offer a unique version for today’s audience. JCDC has taken Lego to the high fashion catwalk again, however this time his references are as varied as African tribal accessories (complete with Mohawk style helmets), holidaying in the south of France (albeit with a Lego print twist) and iconic 80’s designer, Moschino’s spliced pocket jacket.
For some time now, we’ve seen a revival of all things early 80’s pop culture. As the youth of that era take reign within creative positions, their idealism and inspiration from that era is re-positioned in today’s creative consciousness. After the success of the JCDC Lego collection, the inspiration just keeps extending to different categories and new styles; some wearable, some great for catwalk, as shown below.
