guys, do relax. It was a friendly jibe at my friendly art partner. Yeah, i download music, take naps, watch the pigeons on the window sill, chat and sometimes pretend i am working.
On a more serious note, this debate is a very subjective debate. It depends from person to person irrespective of the fact, he is art or copy or watever. I doubt if there ever will be an answer to it. One thing i agree however that dips out here is much more into everything than i am, as some of you has mentioned. But he is my art partner for the last 5 years and its within my rights to take a friendly dig at him.
Lastly to Dalbir... Just out of college, referred by Param i went to meet you at JWT, Kolkata. You looked at my stuff, treated me to a coke, scribbled a fantastic Wills Filter pack and hinted in a nice and subtle way that art direction was probaly not for me. Thanks...i am an ACD copy at Bates Enterprise now. :D

Arjun, how come i do not remember this? I left JWT and India some 9 years back. Are you sure you met me?

But it seems like you are doing well. Say Hi to Hira, he was kinda my boss.

Yeah dalbir, im sure. Two reasons. First param was junior in college to me and he used to talk about you. And secondly, after the so called senior creative people in cal didn't even meet me, you were kind of the first one who was patient and nice to a gawky fresher who walked into the hallowed corridors of JWT. And you even treated me to a coke! Yeah, that will be abt 9 years back. :)
