Re: Apollo
Now, give it a shot in India
it can be even more awesome.
Re: Apollo
there are some amazing drives in India. But we are soon screwing it up. Querrying in the hills is eroding them
and the landscape is nothing but construction these days.

also drive through Scotland. We drove from Grantown on Spey to Gairloch last summer (100miles) and I couldn't stop taking photographs! A9, A835 then A832 along the shores of Loch Maree to Gairloch which is a small village. Admittedly we must have had the best day of the summer(end of July) with wall to wall sunshine but the views coming over the hill and down to Kinlochewe are wonderful. The West coast can be very dramatic and quite stark in places but on a good day its hard to beat.

I live in Bangalore; in and around Bangalore you can find plenty of places for a drive.
I had just finished up a drive
. It was breezy, drizzling and cold weather that hugged so tight.

the good drives in India are fast shrivelling up. The last time I saw the Mumbai-Pune rive (around 10 years ago) was great! This time around, its full of billboards and constructions. The farms have been sold away...
