Today it's not just the mainstream ad agencies in India that are dominating
the global scene,but also its healtcare counterparts. At the recently
concluded 23rd RX CLUB AWARDS show, Sorento Healthcare Communications
India bagged two Golds and topped the overall Golds tally - worldwide.
Ogilvy One Worldwide & McCann Healthcare notched silvers at the competition.

Every year, RX CLUB, NEW YORK attracts thousands of entries from around the
world – and commands one of the highest places of honour in healthcare/pharma advertising.
Worldwide agencies of top groups like Euro, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB,
DraftFCB, Grey, McCann and the likes, participate in RX CLUB awards.
Hence winning here, matters a lot in the healthcare space.

It’s not just the mainline agencies that are placing India on the global map of advertising, but also the specialists.

On 12th Nov, ’09, results of the RX CLUB SHOW 2009, (now in its 23rd year) were announced with a grand ceremony in New York. Topping the Gold tally was India’s Sorento Healthcare Communications – with 2 Gold Awards.

Sorento won Gold in the poster category with its entry titled ‘Sand Clock’ for Schering-Plough’s Naturolax. The agency’s 2nd Gold was earned in the film category with ‘Bed Time Story’, a TVC on Dementia Awareness developed for Eisai, India and ARDSI.

Both entries were conceived by the agency’s senior team comprising Dinesh Ghosalkar and Sarvesh Raikar – under the creative leadership of Rajesh Rai.

Every year, RX CLUB, NEW YORK attracts thousands of entries from around the world – and commands one of the highest places of honour in healthcare/pharma advertising.
Worldwide agencies of top groups like Euro, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB,
DraftFCB, Grey, McCann and the likes, participate in RX CLUB awards.

For Sorento, the wins are especially satisfying as only a miserly 10 Gold Awards were handed out this year across all categories (print, video, integrated and interactive). And Sorento was the only India-based agency to make the cut – and strike Gold.
Sorento also bagged as many as six Awards of Excellence.
