Vodafone Tuesdays : probably the best of all brand promos

I love Vodafone Tuesdays.
I think its the best of all brand promotionals that I have seen.

For those who arent aware: Vodafone offers a 'one free with every one' offer on tuesdays, if you have a Vodafone connection, at select movies and eating joints. Their offers at movie theaters like Satyam and DT in Delhi, Fame Adlabs in Mumbai etc see record turnovers of people wanting to see the movies. Many people may not be aware of the fact that even select Costa Coffee and Pizza Hut outlets (amongst many other) have a buy one get one free offer on select items on the menu.

I have always felt this was a far better way to create buzz around the brand than hiring a celebrity to make a nanosecond appearance. And perhaps cheaper too.
