Premium paper suppliers

Post by pixelfiesta »

Does anyone know where can I get special papers similar to Cordenons, Conquerer, Favini, ArjoWiggins or Tripine!

I know of two vendors who deal in these papers — Transasia Fine Papers (also known as Kyoorious) and Sona Commercial. Both are somewhere in Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Do you know of other premium brands available in Mumbai. Any links or contacts?
Any recomendations?

if you are in Mumbai, wich I think you are, then there is a small shop opposite the erstwhile Copper Chimney Restaurant on the way to the Bandra West local train station. The name escapes me.

thats how it is. i was once looking for a Hard Disk with a budget of Rs 40,000. That was about 8 years ago before storage became so cheap. No one had what I wanted and also no one responded to get it for me. the person could have made good money. its always the same here.

No, I still haven't called them, only mailed.
Some paper are very beautiful, Basant. Take a look at the range that Transasia and Kyoorious has and you will believe what difference good paper makes. There is lot to explore.

Sorry but digital isn't everything. You can achieve the same effect that of offset or screen. Who wants to limit himself by what the printer is able to take. Digital printers are good for mock-ups but offset is what gives great results.

Have you tried mettalics or textured papers? If you do thing for the print media,
I suggest you should take a look at the paper available.

let me know if the shop had any good stuff. actually there are two shops. one is like a stationery shop with lots of paper and paint and stuff, then look for a tiny shop opposite that. go into it. u have to go a level below (i think) and u will suddenly be swimming in all kinds of paper, spray paint, the works. and they have another hidden level below that from which they pull out more awesome stuff for you!
